Heath Ryan Holmquist

Heath has finally arrived! Josh and I are both THRILLED!

He got here on July 28th at 11:44 pm, He was 8lbs even and 20 1/4 inches long and had a great pair of lungs for screamin! He looks so much like his daddy. Josh wasn't able to be here because he is in Iraq, but will be coming home in about 6 1/2 weeks to meet his little guy.

Come on Baby!!

I went to the doctor on Thursday and i'm not progressing much.. at all!! I'm 40 weeks and 5 days right now. My doctor scheduled an induction for this coming Monday, the 21st (my 41 week mark). So the end IS actually in sight! Not that pregnancy was terrible or anything, I'm just so anxious to meet the little guy that has been camping in my rib cage for the passed couple months. And I'm looking forward to NOT getting told I'm huge, or asked if I'm SURE I'm not having twins. Oh the things you should not say to a pregnant woman.

The Final Countdown(s)

Hello everyone! Just trying to figure out how to work this blog stuff. I don't have much to say right now. Except i'm STILL pregnant :) But I am ready to welcome this little one ANY day he wants to come now! I'm kind of nervous, I hired a Doula (A professional trained to help the mother during labor and childbirth) and am hoping for an all natural birth. We'll see how that goes, but the most important thing is that he arrives healthy and fully cooked!

Now for the other exciting countdown.. I'm sure most of you know Josh has been in Iraq since February. Well He's due back around September 10th-ish. Just 2 more months! I'm very excited! I can't wait to see him again and show off our little baby to him!
